In addition to developing a competitive location profile based on distinct strengths in the various sectors, value added chains and technologies, this task also involves making a clear differentiation compared with competing economic regions.
The qualities and fields of excellence of the MRN are publically presented regionally, nationally and internationally as a long-term and ongoing undertaking. The level of awareness of the region as an attractive economic location is enhanced by focusing in particular on the competitive investment potential. National and foreign investors, as well as skilled workers, should become interested in the MRN as a location, and companies already resident here should have their decision in favour of the MRN endorsed.
