The Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region Foundation (MRN) has been awarding its civil prize every two years since 2008 in appreciation of newly developed ideas which encourage civil commitment, collectively take on social challenges in the region, and shape the future of the region in a socially beneficial way and on a partnership basis.
