The civil monitoring performed by the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region is a representative telephone survey of 2,000 citizens in the region that has been conducted every two years since 2007. Its aim is to obtain topical appraisals on the part of the region's population/inhabitants and to document trends as well as changes in public opinion. This data can be used as the basis for defining and initiating specific measures and projects for further enhancing the quality of the region as a place for living and working.
